HonestElo is a read-only, static information site. We don’t run user accounts, collect form submissions, or sell anything. This page explains what that means for your privacy.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you personally. We don’t set tracking cookies. We don’t embed third-party advertising pixels or social widgets that can fingerprint visitors. We don’t sign you in, and we have no user database.

We may run aggregate, cookieless analytics (for example, Plausible or a similar privacy-friendly provider) to count page views and understand which fighters people look up. These analytics aggregate data at the page level and do not generate a personal profile of you. No personal data is stored.

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) keeps short-lived server logs for security and abuse prevention, which may include IP address and user-agent. These are operational logs, we do not read or export them, and they are discarded on the provider’s rolling schedule.

Cookies

We use one localStorage key (he-theme) that remembers your chosen color theme (dark / light / warm). It stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is purely a UI preference. No tracking cookies are set.

Whose data is on the site

The site contains public facts about professional UFC fighters: names, fight results, dates, and derived statistics we compute ourselves (Elo ratings, uncertainty, strength-of-schedule). These are public figures engaged in public competition; publishing historical sport records is standard editorial / statistical practice.

If you are a fighter listed here and believe something is factually incorrect — or you have a specific data-subject request under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA — email us at the address below. Verified factual corrections are typically processed within 14 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data. Because we do not maintain a personal-data database about visitors, most such requests are limited to: (a) asking us to check whether analytics has recorded anything unusual associated with your IP, or (b) fighter profile corrections as above.

Children

HonestElo is not directed at children under 13 (US) / 16 (EU). We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under those ages.

If we materially change how this site handles data, we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date above.
